Free for All: The Public Library tells the story of how public libraries shaped the country and continue to be a sanctuary for Americans everywhere.
Create your own bright, whimsical drink coasters with a fruity twist by painting wood slices to resemble slices of lemon, lime, orange, or watermelon. These charming coasters will add a pop of summery color and fun to any room!
This program is open to tweens and teens ages 10-17 only, and registration is strongly recommended, as each session has occupancy limits. (Teens and tweens who did not register will be admitted as walk-ins on the day of only if the class is not full.)
Please note that ages 10-14 and ages 13-17 are suggested age ranges for each session but as long as you are between the ages of 10-17 you can sign up for either time that works best for your schedule.
Join Iowa DNR Wildlife Biologist Andy Kellner to discuss coyotes, an adaptable wildlife species that lives inside and outside of urban places. Topics will include coyote history, ecology, and tips for avoiding human-wildlife conflict.
