Event Details
Uh-oh, it’s after visiting hours and you’re locked in the zoo! Work with your family at your own pace, moving through several different stations to solve puzzles and reveal the code to unlock the gate. Learn fun facts about animals and zoos along the way, but make sure you break out before the lions, tigers, and bears start to get hungry, oh my!
Limited Space, Registration Required | Target Audience: Families with kids 5 – 11, although older siblings may enjoy helping too! Anyone under 10 must be supervised by an adult and adults should plan on participating in the fun as teamwork will be needed!
Choose your start time, all sessions are the same activity and should take approximately 20 – 40 minutes, depending on ages and how many team members you have. Please register the total number of people on your team (including adults).
- Session 1 (starts @ 2:30 PM)
- Session 2 (starts @ 3:00 PM)
- Session 3 (starts @ 3:30 PM)
- Session 4 (starts @ 4:00 PM)
- Session 5 (starts @ 4:30 PM)

Adult Supervision
All children under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult at programs and while in the library.
As per our Children's Use Policy: "The Library is not responsible for the actions, supervision, or safety of a child or for guiding or monitoring a child’s use of the Library. A child 9 years of age or younger must be supervised by a caregiver at all times. A caregiver must be 14 years of age or older."
