Program Description

Event Details

Join us for fun in the youth area of the library. Drop in on the 3rd Tuesday of the month between 4:15 and 5:15 to enjoy science, technology, engineering, or math activities.

Target Audience: Ages 5+  |  No registration

A comet is a chunk of ice, rock, and gas flying through space. When comets get close to the sun, they heat up and we can see their glow and long tails. In this activity, you’ll use tinfoil, ribbons, and a stick to make your own proportionally representative comet!
