Moulin Rouge
(NR, 1952, 2h 3m)
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec believes he's too deformed and ugly to ever fall in love and resigns to lose himself in painting and cognac. A fixture at Paris' infamous turn-of-the-century Moulin Rouge nightclub, Lautrec meets a girl from the street who breaks his heart and further damages his outlook on love. Will his growing success in artistic pursuits and a budding friendship with a new woman be able to mend his broken heart in time to recognize the chance at happiness now staring him in the face? (Nominated for seven Oscars including Best Picture and winner of two.)
