Event Details
At this longer storytime, we’ll dive into a topic and explore the fascinating world around us using a combination of nonfiction and fiction books. Each storytime will typically include reading, discussion, one craft, and one science activity.
Target Audience: 3-6 years old | Registration encouraged to help us plan but not required
Storytime Explorers is held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 10:00 AM.
Join us for a special Spring Break edition of Storytime Explorers! We’ll read "Up, Down, and Around" by Katherine Ayres, make a plant-themed craft, and welcome a special guest, Amanda from Nine Square Feet! Nine Square Feet is a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting gardeners at every stage of growing and inspiring a new generation of plant enthusiasts. Amanda will assist us in starting spring/summer seeds (you can choose one flower and one vegetable) in cups, which you can take home to replant once they sprout!
Storytime Explorers is usually aimed at ages 3-6, but we encourage you to bring older siblings to this special event if you think they’d enjoy joining in the fun.
