It’s scarf season! Learn how to create your own fashion scarf with this easy, fun knitting method using only your fingers and yarn. This technique is perfect for beginners or experienced knitters as there are no tools needed!
This program is open to tweens and teens ages 10-17 only, and registration is strongly recommended, as each session has occupancy limits. (Teens and tweens who did not register will be admitted as walk-ins on the day of only if the class is not full.)
Please note that ages 10-14 and ages 13-17 are suggested age ranges for each session but as long as you are between the ages of 10-17 you can sign up for either time that works best for your schedule.
Throughout the month of February, teams can drop into the library to assemble a designated 500-piece puzzle. A prize will be awarded to the quickest team + all participating teams will be entered in a drawing!
In partnership with the American Heart Association and Grand View University, the library is hosting two sessions focused on heart health.
Celebrate Galentine's Day with friends and a good book at Ladies' Night Out with local author, Angela Youngers.
