Program Description

Event Details

The experts at Spock’s Sanctuary will bring five reptiles for us to see and learn about. You can even touch or hold some with a signed waiver! 

Download the waiver here, print it, fill it out, sign, and bring it with you to the event, or arrive at least 10 minutes early to fill one out the day of the event! When we have the waiver, you will receive a sticker to wear that easily identifies that we have received your signed waiver. 

Register for one of three sessions:

  • 10:00 AM Session (10:00-10:30 AM)
  • 10:45 AM Session (10:45-11:15 AM)
  • 11:30 AM Session (11:30 AM-12:00 PM)

Registration is not required, but is strongly preferred. 

We will strive to admit everyone who wants to attend, but signing up for a session helps us ensure that attendance is more evenly spread over the three sessions and will thus provide a better chance that everyone who wants to can pet or hold an animal. Thank you!

Adult Supervision

All children under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult at programs and while in the library.

As per our Children's Use Policy: "The Library is not responsible for the actions, supervision, or safety of a child or for guiding or monitoring a child’s use of the Library. A child 9 years of age or younger must be supervised by a caregiver at all times. A caregiver must be 14 years of age or older."
